Pick of the Week

My Pick of the Week this week comes from twittermail.com.  We have been using this application at Centrifuge this week so that our middle school students could update our twitter account.  This allows parents to keep up to date with what’s going on at camp from multiple students.  The application works really easy.  You just go to twittercounter.com and sign up for a twittermail account and log into your student ministry twitter account.  You then click on the settings tab and create a secret address that you can give out to students.  They can then text updates to this address and it will update your student ministry twitter account.

I have used this in the past with students and it went really well.  It was a great way for parents to be able to keep up with what was going on while we are at camp.  Make sure you change the secret code when you get home if you don’t want students to continue to update your account.
