Uprising Recap (4/17)
Here’s what went down at Uprising this past weekend:
- We started off the night with the band playing I am Free.
- We played some a series of three potty games. In the first game the students had to take a plunger and try and toss a roll of toilet paper in a garbage can. In round two they had to take a roll of toilet paper and wrap themselves up by spinning in circles. In round three they had to drink a glass of lemonade that was made very sour.
- Set List: Our God, Majesty of Heaven, The Stand
- This was week two in our series called My Faith. In this series we’re looking at the things that make up our faith. Week 1: A relationship with Jesus. Week 2: We are meant to serve.
- Main Text: James 2:14-26
- Favorite Moment: Knowing that our adult leaders can handle thing when I can’t be there. My daughter had a choir performance and I wasn’t going to be able to be up with the youth before we started. Our adult leaders stepped up and made everything happen to start us off right!
- Final Thought: Our faith works!
